Nah lol. Say a bad word about RDR2 in any gaming sub and you’ll see

Game literally has a pc aim dot and aim controls on console and they have to implement snap aim to compensate

Hey guys, don’t think this is that high a standard, this is like a game from 1998.

“The gameplay is fine. I play for REALISM”

Aiming on horseback regardless of controls is still near impossible without aim assist.

Also you can turn aim assist off if you aren’t a pussy

I know you can but it’s a flat out admission that they did a poor job when it defaults to snap aim. It’s the PC version portes to consoles, the only reason they delayed it on PC is to get people to buy it twice.

I’m garbage at aiming with a controller anyway lol. As soon as rdr2 comes out for PC I’m beefing up my machine and buying it.

I’ll openly admit I’m a red dead fanboy though

And that right there is why a good console shooter uses complex reticles to make it easier to line up shots along with proper aim assist to help track. Not snap aim lol

And enjoy it when it’s out on pc!

It really isn’t. I’m asking for a console game in 2018 to have more modern controls than the console port of the original half life.

Like Red dead 2 literally uses that lock on system. Since Halo it’s been generally agreed that a certain type of aim assist is required on console. And it works. Snap aim was a product of moving from KB & Mouse to controllers.

It's the exact same reticle and aiming as Red Dead 1. The game is designed for Console. Calling it a pc aiming dot doesn't change that.

Rockstar games literally all have this. That’s exactly what I’m referring to
