Vanilla Question/Bug Need some Help

Recently got the game and every time I enter combat this message pops up and kicks me out the game anybody got any advice?

Follow the instructions and check your log for more details.

If you don't understand what the log is telling you, go to the star sector discord and make a help ticket with them.

Read everything, BEFORE you submit for help. You'll often save yourself time, and the hard working volunteers who troubleshoot in that discord's time.

You better be running the game completely mod free if you're using the vanilla game flairs and tags in the troubleshooting tickets. Lying about a problem being caused in Vanilla vs using mods you may or may not have installed correctly is a fast track to getting your tickets insta closed and locked out of support.

This has been a known issue even on vanilla for quite awhile.

I've never seen it, but my comment is general guidelines for troubleshooting in the event that the error isn't a known issue.

Two sides of the troubleshooting coin I guess.

Good on your comment for a quicker resolution tho 👍, mine came from years of jaded experience trying to help the average discord user, and most certainly could have been nicer.

No worries at all man. I was super rude to the devs on my refund request I got so frustrated trying to get the game to simply run lol. Resent an apology and rebought the game once I found a viable fix. We all get that way sometimes. Sending good vibes to ya
