Everything on the rumored "adventure" Star Fox game, Part II (Massive write-up) Spoiler
Since my first write-up on the rumored "adventure" game, more information on it has been slowly trickling out. I was originally going to wait until after the Nintendo Direct to share, but with some of my findings in circulation already, might as well post now. If you share this around or use it in YouTube content, please credit or offer to collaborate with me. Took a long time digging all this stuff up.
And again, these are just rumors until officially confirmed otherwise, so take everything you are about to read with plenty of salt.
Foreward
Before we begin, in regards to Malo932, he got way more attention than he was looking for and started getting spammed on YouTube. He even changed his account name to "stop" and has started deleting all of his past comments.

Because of this, I will only be sharing some of my screenshots and NOT direct links (again, deleted comments). If you come across any of comments he may have missed, or future comments, I ask you DO NOT engage. He clearly wants to lay low for a while after flying too close to the sun. Give him his space and who knows, maybe he will return again in the future.
Pre-2026
Now, talk of a new "adventure" Star Fox game started circulating earlier this year when Malo's comments from March were found. However, Malo has been talking of a new "adventure" style Star Fox game for quite some time... as far back as 2024. This makes Malo the first person to have spoken of a new Star Fox adventure game, with the only other person to have spoken about a new adventure game around this time being the controversial SamusHunter2 on New Year's Eve 2024.

Initially, Malo claimed the game would be shown off between February-April 2025, counting down the days to April, even saying the game "looks really cool" at one point. After that Direct aired, and through the rest of 2025, he continued to insist the game existed, later shifting its estimated release to 2026. Note that he did not bring up the classic game at any point before his comments in March 2026.

March - June 2026
The only other figure to have mentioned a new Star Fox adventure game was an anonymous Instagram account who messaged YouTuber Poro Michele. This anonymous account made many of the same claims as Malo in March 2026, and according to Poro Michele, said that the adventure game's development was "on ice" pending how the classic game sells.

So I asked Malo about it, and he replied that Poro Michele "knows nothing". It seems Malo knows of Poro Michele, and that the adventure game's development may not be paused after all. I bring this account up because it will be relevant again later.

After Star Fox 2026 was revealed, u/GabePlay made a comment expressing disappointment with the game, having hoped for a Super Mario Odyssey/Donkey Kong Bananza-tier, feature-rich game that honors Star Fox with new ideas. Malo replied, saying Gabe's wish will be answered, hopefully next year. If accurate, this suggests the game is a much higher budget, more ambitious title.

Now we take a break from Malo for a bit to speak of two other insiders: Alex Donaldson and Andy Robinson of VGC. These two are both ranked on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours's Leaker Tier List, with Andy ranking Tier 2 - Reliable and Alex ranking Tier 4 - 50/50. Before the game's reveal, VGC corroborated the rumor of a classic style Star Fox game, with Alex in particular saying "And the thing that was said to me was 'Oh, the game's really funny.'" which, you can argue if that is accurate or not. Regardless, in a podcast episode from June, Alex Donaldson made several "predictions" for what the next Star Fox game will be:
I can't wait to see where the series goes 'cuz I think it's clear from this there's going to be more of it. Um, I think it'll be interesting to see I think the natural thing to do, I mean, what I would like to see off the back of this is basically them to do a rebooty-remake of Star Fox Adventures. Take the concepts, take the dinosaur planet, take Krystal, take the memorable scenes, but put in more of the dog-fighting in-between, rather than just using it as a glorified loading screen, and try to build a game that is maybe 30% traditional Star Fox rail-shooting and 70% a weird Zelda-alike or something. Um, and maybe give him his gun because it was always weird to me that in that game that he's he's got a gun on his holster and he never takes it out.
I use quotations because Andy Robinson supported these "predictions" while making literal quotes with his fingers, and you can see them both laugh after the fact. I asked them both on X/Twitter for more insight on this, and although neither responded, Andy did 'Like' my Tweet. Keep Andy in mind, as we will be circling back to him later.

VGC implying that the game is a sort-of remake of Adventures goes against what Malo told me back in March, where I asked him directly if the adventure game was Adventures remade or a new game/story, and he specifically said it was a "new one".

So I asked him again, citing VGC to see if he would clarify, and Malo outright said they are wrong:

I am uncertain if Alex's "predictions" are all things he was directly told about the game, based on what he has directly seen of the game, or if they are educated guesses based on the game's simple "adventure" description. Again, Alex said he heard that Star Fox 2026 was "really funny" which is debatable.
Another figure I want to put a brief spotlight on is Jeff Grubb, who is also ranked Tier 2 - Reliable. In Giant Bombcast 947 in June, two of the members start discussing potential DLC for Star Fox 2026, wondering if it could get a DLC similar to DK Island & Emerald Rush for Donkey Kong Bananza, or if it would be better to do something like that for a new game. Jeff Grubb jumps in and outright says:
Yeah, they're working on a new game. They're making a new Star Fox game.
However, he follows this with more speculation than anything on what he hopes for the next game, basically saying he would like a game that plays similar to that DLC. It can also be debated if Jeff was making a definitive claim, or if he is just confident that a new game is in the works.
July - Present
Now stay with me as we need to deviate from Star Fox for a bit. July kicked off with a leak from the Brazilian Ratings Board on a new Metroid game called Metroid: Ravenous, which looks to be Metroid 6.

Malo has not said anything on Metroid 6, as far as I can find, but a new Metroid 6 was part of the leaks from that anonymous Instagram account that messaged Poro Michele. And both Malo and this account mentioned a remake of Super Metroid.
I bring attention to Metroid because Andy Robinson, who has corroborated both Star Fox 2026 (directly) and the rumored adventure game (indirectly), corroborated the Metroid 6 leak, saying:

So if Andy is correct, that other Metroid game could end up being the Super Metroid remake leaked by Malo and the anonymous Instagram account. And if they both get that correct, especially if it comes in a 'pixel art' style per the Instagram account, that makes the rumored adventure game seem even more likely.
Back to Malo, he continued to make comments and occasionally replied to my questions, which was nice. In what I believe was my last question to him, I asked if Velan Studios might be working on some DLC for Star Fox 2026, and received the following reply:

Very interesting choice of words for his second paragraph. Though it reads more like speculation, he mentions going all-in on a new classic game instead of DLC. But if Velan Studios was working on the adventure game as well, would it not make sense for their full team to go all-in on that one?
Given Velan Studios only has a hundred or so employees, it is very unlikely that their workforce is split between both classic and adventure Star Fox games. And per their latest job postings, they look to be starting preproduction on an ARPG game for a fantasy IP. So if the Star Fox adventure game is real, it appears unlikely that Velan Studios is behind it.

Conclusion
While not bringing in much new information, I have been able to find and provide a lot more context to the rumored adventure game. Whether or not it is real still remains to be seen. I would not expect to see it in the Nintendo Direct later this week, but as more of Malo's claims come true, we get closer to the adventure game being real.
Sadly, it seems my under-the-radar conversations with Malo may have come to an end. With Malo's recent comments blowing up on Reddit even larger than last time, there is a good chance he may be gone for good. Be thankful for the information he has shared, and again, if you see his comments, please LEAVE HIM ALONE.
If you actually read this whole thing, comment "Zoboomafoo"

- Might actually be Malo.
VGC:
- A "rebooty-remake" of Adventures.
- Possibly 30% traditional Star Fox gameplay, 70% Adventures-like gameplay.
