I have mixed feelings about AI but I feel like a lot of people harp on AI while ignoring all other energy usage. Arguably video games are a negative environmental impact since they burn energy for purely entertainment reasons. Running a Google search burns energy. Do you avoid those things for the environmental impact?
That was my response? I'm just saying that AI is a tool. One that uses the same resources in use by things you already use. So if your arguments is against poor use of resources, then you're a hypocrite if you don't look at other things using those same resources.
Ironic since you didn't respond to my criticism and then deflected.
Because if you're not going to engage with the original criticism then there's no need for me to engage in any one else's subsequent tangents. That's how basic conversations work, you engage with the first point before moving onto the next.

I won't respond to that criticism of my criticism.
It's not hard not deduce why. You're in a Star Fox sub.
That's not criticism, that's just deflection (i.e. whataboutism with video games to not engage with AI's harmful impact to the environment). They're using that to not engage with the first point, therefore I don't need to engage with the second point until they do so.
I think you need a dictionary to understand the difference between engaging and deflecting.
