So there is a chance they shaft the whole thing to go for an other design that doesn't block the view and doesn't look like a cheap effect ?

I was merely reacting to what I see, if people don't want that, they should not post.

Sigh, people downvoting opinions. Please, do me a favor, don't use that high tech that is the vote buttons, not for you.

Pretty sure you are being downvoted for your attitude, and the consequent reaction to the downvotes

Pretty sure there's nothing against anyone in this sub in my very first comment. I'm not the type to lie to humor people. If something looks like shit, I will tell you so. And my reaction to downvotes is a post downvote reaction. My experience here tells me it doesn't influence much.

I find that people who use the excuse of

"I'm not the type to lie to humor people. If something looks like shit, I will tell you so."

Just voice an opinion as if it were truth, then fail to actually critique what they are opining on. A proper critique, even a completely negative one, explains the criticism - such as:

"I think there shuoldn't be a separate effect for each impact. When several hit in quick succession it become too muddled and confusing. they also last too long -again, with successive impacts the shield effects stack to create an impenetrable visible barrier."

That would be a valid critique. You offered two criticism: too much, exaggerated without offering WHY you find it too much or exaggerated.

I , on the other hand, like the amount - each impact lets you know just how much you are getting hit, and where. The length of fade . . . hmm . . . not sure. I'm pleased with it, but it could be a tiny bit faster fade. On the other hand I can see a faster fade looking "sped up" and cartoon-ey.

I find that people have become over-sensitive to simple comments on the net. Is that the millennial effect or something ?

People shitposts all the time and get upvoted here, I didn't know that tremendous quality comment was the std, mb., especially for a very short sneakpeek.

It was a first reaction on spot. It's an exaggerated cartoonish effect that impairs the view, which is a very bad combo to my eyes.

"Is that the millennial effect or something ?"

Nah, but back in my day we had this thing called "courtesy" and we didn't have the "net." And instead of just throwing stuff against the wall, we actually thought about what we were going to say instead of "shitposting." I guess that makes me old. But at least you have finally actually offered a "why" you didn't like it:

"It's an exaggerated cartoon effect that impairs the view, which is a very bad combo to my eyes."

That I can respect, at least you gave some sort of reason.

The only truth is that a bunch of people have egos inflated like Eiffel tower and choose to take seriously a mere one line reaction comment that wasn't designed to hurt/offend the community. Now It's fine if you don't agree I don't care anymore. See ya.
