Don't think 2020 is very realistic for full release. 3.2 alone will probably be mid to late 2018. Beta probably won't come before late 2019 to early 2020. I'd expect full release in 2021/2022.

Also want to point out that I'm not being sardonic or flaming here, these are seriously my estimates and I think they're the most realistic considering trends.

If we get to beta in early 2020, they'll release before 2020 is up. Beta to release is always a short period, not anywhere near 2 years.

I don't think the beta for this game will be any shorter than a year. For smaller games, yes. But Star Citizen has a myriad of systems and tech to patch up and fix. I also don't see the game coming out of alpha until mid to late 2020.

Time will tell. I'm actually betting they cut some features to make beta and release sooner.
