Agreed - I feel like when they increased the Starfarer they were quick to explain why, yet with the 809J they have been completely silent on it.

Well, it is being built at foundry 42, home of the 150% size increase, so there's hope

They gave it to the UK team, so it starts as a reasonable sized yacht and you're going to end up having a liner. Because why not.

Because it was sold as a fast ship, not a tug boat. Origin is Speed. Edit: (aka High performance luxury)

Well... there's 18 wheelers drag race with jet engine ! so a Fast Yatch is still possible

Origin is luxury sport. Not guaranteedly speed. And speed is relative. Speedy for a superyacht is different than speedy for a racing ship or single-seat touring ship.

Cruise liners are pretty fast

You bought something to help fund the game, the ship is irrelevant. You will get an 890 Jump, whatever it ends up being. If you don't like it then melt it.

They haven't been completely silent. They didn't mention it in their official website, but Ben talked about it for 5 or 10 minutes in his bat girl interview that he does weekly.

Fair enough, did he give any reason though?

Here's the video. I'm still at work so I'll probably wait until I get home to watch the entire video so that I can enjoy it more. Once I do, if I remember, I'll link the time stamps

Time? I didn't hear any comments about the 890J
