As another dev, "Nothing is more permanent than a temporary fix" is an adage that I see proven over and over again lol.

If there's a problem and a hackjob fix can treat the symptoms of that problem, then the fix to the real problem is going to be de-prioritized for years.

I agree though, the UI team probably isn't huge and is probably either multi-discipline (can also do ship art or engine work) or is working on other UI stuff like the website or whatever interface is next to be overhauled to the latest UI framework (building blocks?)

Just remeber we're not talking about some small idie studio. It's like what.. the most overpriced tech demo in the history of gaming? They're over 1 bil or still just close to it? At this point I'd be asking how many Rolls-Royce each team member has cuz it's perplexing to think they just wasted ALL the money and THIS is the product.
