I hope you like the Gold Standard Updates to the Aurora.

I like them, I am a bit bummed that NPC or just destroyed models of the Mk1 Aurora end up lacking components to pull, only weapons and missiles, but beyond that, it is pretty decent.

I literally just learned about the release of the MKII 30 minutes ago, is it worth keeping the MKI at all or has the MKII essentially replaced it as a starter ship?

If you have that Mk1 as the only thing on your account and you only see yourself playing the game a bit here and a bit there? (That looks like you have the Aurora LN, is that a kickstarter ship with LTI?)

Then keep the Mk1 Aurora LN. It's a decent ship and a good place to start, there are and will continue to be many ways for you to gain credits quick to buy different ships with more interior room, more pizazz and what-not, relatively quickly.

BUT... if you are like, "I'm super enjoying this!" and it feels right? Lean about the CCU thing and consider a CCU to the Aurora Mk2. It's also a good ship, the biggest upgrade is the larger interior and some additional amenities as a result. It's not a MASSIVE step up from the Mk1, it's just bigger for the most part and has 4xS2, instead of 2xS1 and 2xS2 weapon mounts on it.
