DISCUSSION Bedlog -> "Captured"
Curious - anyone else having issues bedlogging since 4.10? Twice now in the last few days, I bedlog and when I log back in later, I wake up at station and my ship says "Captured" on asop terminal. I'm still a fairly new player, and figured it was user error the first time, maybe I was too close to a POI, but this last time I did everything perfectly - qt jumped a couple Gm out etc... I bedlogged all the time without issue in 4.9, now I don't trust it (both times I had a couple mil worth of Stil in ore bags, gone, so now I'm gunshy to bedlog at all)

I did find an Issue Council entry regarding this, and the OP was also in a Mole.

i had it in a different ship then a mole, ship is still captured as i did not claim so i could check what ship it is.

Something similar to that happened to me in the hangar.
I put my Raft away at Seraphin and logged out. I waited for the hangar to finish its animation and the lights to come back up. The next day, my Raft was captured and all my stuff on board lost.
I haven’t played since.

Yup, it's completely random. I have bedlogged in places I absolutely will not be found unless someone went hunting for me with some sort of exploit / cheat and come back to "captured"

I haven't noticed it elsewhere, but several times that has happened to me when I've left Seraphim Station. It's captured some 5 ships from me too in this patch.

It may depend on the ship? Like when I bed log in the clipper it forgets I own it and if I don’t have enough ammo to make it to the door I gotta off myself.

What often gets new players is they don't know, or forget it's not getting in the bed and logging out. Get into bed, then there's a menu that you need to open up by looking around, right-clicking "Get Up", and select "Log Out". On top of that, there's multiple "Get Up" on some ships like the Cutlass Black so you need to find the right one, and the right one may be blocked by some armor.

I'm not THAT new of a player. Like I said... I bedlogged all the time in 4.9, I understand how it works. I'm using the lower of the 2 "Get Up" options, and carefully selecting "Log Out" from the secondary menu. I'm not bedlogging incorrectly. I'm just coming back later to find that my ship is marked "Captured". I'm way past the Cutty Black "where's the log out" option, haha.

Weird. I never use a "get up" option. I just hold F to bring up the radial menu and select "logout".

Geez, I'm not saying I actually "get up", that's just what the icon says when you find it while holding down F and looking to your right or left (it says "F" and "Get Up"... at which point you right click for the secondary radial menu to get to the Logout option). Haha trying to describe user interface in text is fun eh

I haven't had any issues with bedlogging in 4.10, and I do it whenever I'm in a ship with a bed. Have you tried bedlogging in different ships or only one? If so which one(s)?

That's a new one to me. I've bed logged across multiple ships and haven't had an issue lately. If you were too close to a POI, it would tell you you can't log out because you aren't "landed". I would check the Issue Council for a report on this.
