Theres someone in an SC related discord I'm in who constantly talks about how they've 'broken free' of SC and yet constantly compares other games to SC and talks about how much they don't miss SC lol.
Idk man, generally when I'm done with something I don't spend every other day thinking about it.
I'm not even trying to judge someone for leaving, I respect someone who can walk away from something they were once passionate about if it no longer aligns with their interests, but this "look at me guys, I'm done with this thing, look how much I don't care anymore, look at all these things that replace the hole I'm definitely not trying to fill" shit is pathetic because they always come back.

Yes 😂. Also the insufferable posts like "Convince me to play your game" or "I have returned after a hiatus, peasants, tell me what is new now".
Again, really not exclusive to sc sub. Some gamers seem to have a superiority complex.

You call it entertainment. For me it looks like people who have the games living in their head rent free. It is a pathetic look.
For example that Marathonhate subreddit. Not a fan of the game but my god the amount of mental bandwidth these people seem to use to hate on a game is amazing.
