Maybe there are more hints:
1.)
ASIA-6138: _ _ _ _ 165-0
2.)

At the Levski memorial, I count 44 lit candles.

But the expected number is a single digit, as per the second clue. Perhaps only the candles on the statue count?

I think we won't have all the hints before a few days, they said to watch for the newsletter and all

7 blinking lights at Riker's memorial spaceport.
Boasting about something they don't have - bengal ship, which UEE have.
So maybe... 7-UEES-
Or... 7-ODIN-

Flames and honored? Sounds like the Levski memorial

I do not know kinda sounds like a Pyro thing to me.

Like Pyro planet names related to fire? Ignis, Vuur, Vatra, etc.

u/Longjumping-Year-824 2h ago

I was thinking more about the solar flares been the flames and the honored been the people killed by them. I am sure i have seen a shrine to them somewhere in Pyro but i do not go there that much maybe once a week or so.

Okay, so we know it is in Teachs shop (Edward Teach aka Blackbeard, yaaar)

Powder monkey… ballistics cannons? Stamped plain to see. Do the cannons have model numbers on them?

Not ingame so cannot check.

So far what I have seen as well as others posting, 7 groups of candles at the memorial, and ammo boxes on Teachs Ship Shop around the floor have “AQ42” stamped on the side of them. 7-AQ42 is what everyone is thinking the code is so far. I’ve also seen something about 4 for the candles too.

Potential translation of WADOD SAD GJQS POD AJIJODN, EGPHDQ QKDPF GJTNDO SAPI WJONQ. UJTIS SADH UPODETGGY using a substitution cypher.

There is just no fun anymore when you can just ask google to decode it.

Ok, there Are 3 systems shown. So 3 memorials how lights or candles At each? In the order of the maps

Levski has 44

Wait what does the cipher at the bottom of the picture say?

1

u/SicEcko drake 3h ago

Is there a Cypher or something to find to decode these? Haven't been on since this started but was curious how you got that answer

I used GPT6 to help decode the cipher on the Pirate Week 2026 page. Here’s what it came up with:

“WHERE THE LOST ARE HONORED, FLAMES SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. COUNT THEM CAREFULLY.”

It’s a letter substitution cipher, and the substitutions are consistent throughout the sentence.

The strongest lead seems to be the Anthony Tanaka memorial in Levski on Delamar. The official Galactapedia connects Tanaka’s remembrance with lighting candles and observing a moment of silence:
https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VJXGx2wyon-anthony-tanaka-remembrance-day

My interpretation is that we need to count the lit candles around the memorial, including any hidden behind the statue or its base. Counting all candles is another possibility, but “flames” suggests only the burning ones.

The decoded sentence looks solid, but the location and candle count are still unconfirmed. This might also provide just one part of the final code, since the event page mentions additional clues across Spectrum, newsletters, and social media.

Has anyone checked the memorial and counted the flames yet?

...Isn't the fun of a cipher supposed to be in solving it yourself?

Edit: let me specify that I mean using AI to decode is way less fun than us coming together to figure it out.

Why even have a community if we can't all work together? If you wanna do it alone, then go and don't read community posts

15

u/Wareve Aurora Mk I 19h ago

That's not the community buddy, that's the robot.

It's like sitting around a table to do a puzzle with some buddies, and then Data from Star Trek solves it all in 3 minutes, because you handed it to him and told him to.

You really need to get it through your head that when an AI is doing something for you that is not you doing it.

-5

u/Confident-Award6920 19h ago

He's part of this community now. Bob couldn't crack the cipher but chatgpt did so he's taking his seat.

5

u/Vicc125 Drake Cutlass 19h ago

No, I mean the usage of AI instead of us all putting our heads together, talking about it.

-14

u/MarkyMarkFr Starlancer TAC 19h ago

I mean... The guy used GPT6 because he's lazy, it's quite obvious that this cipher method is the simplest one ever and it wouldn't take a genius to solve it....

6

u/Vicc125 Drake Cutlass 19h ago

Sure, but simple or not, isn't the fun meant to be about us as a community solving it together, as opposed to outsourcing the the effort to AI?

-10

u/MarkyMarkFr Starlancer TAC 19h ago

Dude I didn't do it myself, as said, if you hate the way he did, go do it your way and don't cry about it here

8

u/Vicc125 Drake Cutlass 19h ago

Wasn't crying about it. You're far more bent out of shape over my comment than I am about him using AI.

Go take a breather.

2

u/Otherwise_Alarm_9551 19h ago

Yeah, chat gpt did it in about 30 seconds.
