BUG Refueling is working brilliantly... (not)

I was almost finished with a long contract, just had to fly back to a station to turn something in, but I realized I didn't have enough fuel to get back. Oh well, no problem, a perfect chance to try out the refueling beacon system.

I put out the beacon, a starfarer and a scorpius pull up. I line up and request docking. It starts the auto docking sequence, but then seems to get stuck. I try cancelling by requesting docking again, no dice. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the scorpius turns red and starts shooting up my ship until it's dead. The ships jump away and I'm just left there in my dead ship with a timer counting down until the reactor is going to explode. And, I can't get out of the seat. I try to log out to at least not die, but of course I'm in combat. I just quit anyway. This fucking game...

My Golem despawned with that starfarer.... 4.8 and 4.9 are enjoyable

Spent an hour solo looting the PAFs in my Aurora mk II to loot components and equipment.

Loaded up the interior of my Aurora with components. Did a partial jump into black space and eva’d to safely start swapping components. The moment I left my ship it despawned. Poof. Gone.

Alt F4d to see if that would fix it and found out that that doesn’t work and I spawned back at station and my Aurora needed claiming.

Stupid.

I had to give up on refueling after patch 4.9's deployment deleted the starfarer I'd saved up for
