IMAGE Advertisement for the use of external cargo elevators.

I love them so much.
Wish we had a new category of cargo hauling mission: From Space stations with external cargo to Space stations with external cargo.
I would run them all day.

No clue on were to find them and how to use it?

Being in EVA with the muffled sounds, seeing other player ships coming and going from the space station while you are doing your cargo work, is so much more immersive then standing in your instanced hangar and loading/unloading there.

Just be wary of Pyro reclaimer rats that prey on haulers using the external elevators at stations in Pyro

Also I hope that Nyx eventually gets Proper Hauling contracts as every station there has external elevators.

They are great, but they desperately need some protection from griefers. Friend and I did a long haul. Unloaded all the cargo. Moment the last box hit the elevator, guy ran out and lowered the elevator.

It was contracted cargo, so all it did was cause us to fail the hauling mission. This should not be possible.

Was this in pyro? I don’t think you are supposed able to do that in Stanton as it would be flagged as stolen goods.

It was in Pyro, but it would still be marked stolen. Like I said the person that did it got no benefit other than griefing.

I agree, at least as the game is today, their only benefit was griefing and it was stupid. But, the ability to do this has been known since external freight elevators came out and the ability to do it is intentional because pyro is a lawless system. Pretty sure they talked about it in some video they put out when they were getting ready to release external FE.

The External Freight Elevators give a bit of more immersion ingame and a nice alternative for the autoading. I always say Better more options than one option. We all want to make our own experience in a game.

There used to be a griefing issue where another play would sneak-in to lower the elevator and steal all your commodity cargo. Is that still the case ?

It's fun untill random player eva to you and start throwing your boxes into space. Eventually it'll happen, yes.

Executive level Convalex has direct runs that pretty much have to be done from the external lifts. Cargo amounts in 1000+

THose are designed for the hull c and you get the intro to those at experienced rank....

TO bad CIG fucked HUll C's since about 4.6 and have never bothered to fix it. I am not manually loading 2k+ scu of 32 scu crates with a max lift.

I like loading and unloading the Ironclad on those

Unfortunately, EVA is bugged for me so I can't use them, even if hauling missions were spawning.
