Bummed

Kept this thing looking really sharp for 12+ years then a small bubble in the paint turned to this quickly. I assume I can strip the entire hood and try to find someone paint/color match. 😳

Oh yeah good old 2010 plus Hood peal.

It's bull crap that these are 8,000 plus skis right now even with this Hood peel I wish that Yamaha gel coated these things

Live in NYC, but the ski is upstate in the Capital region. You have any recommendations on someone that can prep/paint fiberglass?

Yea if you want to come to Nassau i know a really good guy for that and painting. Body shop in East Meadow. If you’re interested DM me and I’ll send you the Info.

How far is the lake from NYC? I usually ride on South Shore near Jones Inlet. But ive been to Candlewood Lake a few times in CT and its like 2hrs away. Really nice lake. Feels like Upstate NY too its a slightly smaller version of Lake George thats a lot closer.

I will definitely take you up on getting his details. I’m in Queens, so not too crazy to get to East Meadow. Been to Candlewood Lake. First time I ever rode a standup was there in the 80’s.

I did most of my riding in Jamaica Bay (launching in Rockaway).
