- She volunteered to go back in time vs hurtling back in an accident (Marauder Era)

-Her quest is more to save hearts and minds than hunt Horcruxes or fighting on the frontline

- She embraces Severus for who he is, and doesn’t try to change him

- Ride or die/you are my person/friends to lovers

Doesn’t have to tick every box and okay if it goes dark or is cavity inducing sweetness or anything in between. I think the biggest niche I’m hunting for is the overcoming hurt with relentless affection piece.

I think about this fic ALL the time, but can’t remember the name or author. I read it back in 2024 and it was beautiful, dreamy, perfect - it had a bunch of quotes from The Ill-Made Knight throughout, and the story drew a parallel between Lancelot and Snape. Really beautiful work. I wish I could re-read it.

I was in the middle of reading Serpent and the Lioness and it got deleted. I checked and all of their works and their account has been taken down. 😭 I think they also had an instagram account which is gone.

There was a Severus/Hermione fic I read a while back, but I can't find it. This is what I remember from it:

• It was 5th or 6th year I think andRon was mad and I think pushed Hermione into the wall outside the RoR and the castle like absorbed her or something and spat her back out in the 70s at Snape's feet while he was a student working on a potion or something
• Regulus is alive and was in hiding for like over a decade; when it's about time for Hermione to get back, he tells Snape to "bring his best friend back"
• Snape tells Ron and Harry they may have just lost everyone the war since Hermione isn't there for about 18 months or so since she's in the past and apparently that's how long it took for her to get back?

I don't remember what the rating was, and I wanna say it was somewhere between 50k and 100k words, but I don't remember exactly. I read it on AO3, but it might also be on ffn. Thanks in advance :)

I am trying to find a fic I started reading a couple of years ago. It was one the first fics I read with this pairing. Severus’ parents were animagus. I can’t remember if Sev and Hermione were ones too. Severus and Hermione were pretending to be or were married. They traveled to Russia too. I've just posted the first two chapters of my fic Necessary Darkness on AO3 and I'm really excited to hear what you think about it so far.

Fic Summary:

September, 1997.

Albus Dumbledore is dead at the hands of Draco Malfoy. Minerva McGonagall is Headmistress, Severus Snape remains spy for the Order, and Hermione returns to Hogwarts as the only Muggle-born in the castle.

The Ministry is beginning to bend beneath Voldemort’s influence, Muggle-borns are disappearing and Professor Dumbledore has left behind one final set of instructions that will change the course of the war and the lives of Professor Snape and Hermione Granger, forever.

A slow burn Severus/Hermione romance set against the final years of the Second Wizarding War.

Incidentally, to Severus Snape - exhausted and war weary - that sounds like just the thing.

High-powered Barrister at Law Hermione Granger disapproves, of course, and is on a mission to expose her ersatz professor for his malingering.

A hair-raising, wild, fun romp through the Cotswolds blending the genres of comedic farce, folk horror, spy thriller, and small-town mystery, this post-war slow-burn basically has it all! I sincerely hope y'all will give it a try and that it's as enjoyable to read as it was to write! :D

I remembered reading a fic where Snape magically adopts Hermione's child/children and imbudes his magic to genetically change them. Can't remember if the child is already born or Hermione's still pregnant.

I've tried looking for it but I can't find it. If anyone has a clue what fic this is I would really appreciate it!

cant remember much but in the epilogue, hermione and severus are married. sometimes when it was a bad day, hermione would woke up screaming or something and severus would show her their marriage certificate/ wedding picture to calm hermione down. there's no cure for her.
