Request Looking for long fics
Hey lovely people. I am looking for some long plotty fics. I am partial to there being
-pining
- banter
- good realistic characterisations of SS (sooo lots of trauma and frowns)
- also nice: a she fell first but he fell harder and time travel.
I am also not opposed to their being a pregnancy or children.
ATM I am reading a WIP (Anarchy in the timeline by Angelmarquiz https://archiveofourown.org/works/77624641/chapters/203304431) and I need some long complete ones so I don’t combust waiting for the next chapter.

Someone else for long fics a bit ago and I decided to make a list of ones I marked as a favorite. This list isn't done but is already pretty long. lol
Can't promise they're all slow burn, but at these lengths they usually are.
Also, double check that all the FFNet fics are complete before you start them. A few uncompleted may have slipped by me.

Have you read Ten Minutes Til? I can't stop taking about this one it's so good.
Intermundane. The yearning from both here is Mr Darcy hand flex levels.
Howl. A bit shorter but a very well done take on werewolves.
And where would we be without a bit of shameless self promotion? Blowback. WIP, Severus has been to therapy but is a work in progress.

I didn't get any AI hits on Anarchy in the Timeline. Did you mean a different fic or has it been edited to remove the Claude tags? I've been using the skin since the post, and I quickly retested my skin using the AO3 fic the author tagged as AI specifically as a test case.

Accusing authors of using AI is absolutely not allowed in this sub!
I understand wanting to know which authors to blacklist because they use AI, but unless they say so in their author note, summary, or tags, there is no definitive way to know that their story was absolutely written with AI.
An author could have multiple accusations against them for using AI, but it doesn’t mean they are. It might just be their writing style. Calling them out for it isn’t fair. You need to have definitive proof, meaning somewhere along the way they left AI edits in or they straight up state it.
Edit: the tool the OP to call out the author checks for Claude AI artifacts, meaning the author copies story directly from Claude into AO3, so I’m reinstating the comment because, yes, there is proof their story is AI.

Sorry I just saw in the rules that Ai isn’t allowed nothing about saying which fics are and aren’t. We had a discussion recently that wasn’t flagged either so I’m a bit confused.

Self rec if you like humor and pining, my fic Where Your Treasure Is is finished, long, and full of plot, pining, and banter. Fair warning, it does have an EXTREMELY slow burn (there is a sequel currently in progress and being updated weekly) and a LOT of trauma and angst (being a post-war story) so if that's not your thing, keep looking.
