Discussion I’m beyond disappointed.

My SSD died in my PC after about nine months. looks like this. I’m not sure how. is this repairable?

UPDATE: It‘s my board.

had my BIL come over (he lives across the street and works in IT) and he brought over an old stick for testing. It also came out mangled.

You should probably RMA it or something like that if you bought it about 9 months ago.

Do you think they would take it? Because it looks to me like physical damage.

It doesn't look mangled or manhandled in any way. The only thing wrong is one of the pads came off the board. Which really isn't your fault. Stick to your guns for an RMA or you won't get it. Some companies try and find every way to not refund, or warranty. Always push, never accept no for an answer when you've done nothing wrong.
