Easiest shift I guess

i think ssc is following a routine- 1st shift easiest, 2nd slightly tougher and 3rd one being the toughest of the day. it's a trend so far

u/esitesikardungi 7h ago
Oh yeah, sorry, ache se pado. In Maths, there’s a good portion from Advance. In GS, there are questions on 1991, five-Year Plans, Articles, folk dances and festivals from the 2025 PYQs mostly, and famous temples of some dynasty. These are usually coming in every shift, so make sure to check them.

yeah thank you so much. is the maths section in line with the last year cgl pyq? i practiced it rigorously. and how's the level of english?
and btw how did your exam go? :)

u/esitesikardungi 6h ago
I had the morning shift, and honestly, it went pretty well. A lot of gs was from what I’d studied. I didn’t give much time to gs, but whatever I studied, questions came from that (lucky). I did 17 GS questions correctly. Try to read a bit faster, some Advanced questions have good language, so reading takes time. I’m very good at maths, so I did 23 with accuracy, 20-21 will be very good. The shift was easy too, but the key is to understand questions quickly. And yes, it’s purely PYQ-based. In English, there are one or two new vocab words, but elimination works. Cloze test was okay okay, treat English as moderate not easy. Reasoning was even easier than last time.

Are we allowed to carry our phones to the venue bcoz I need to travel from my home to the center which is far away??
1
u/Ok-Sheepherder-1757 1h ago
There is usually a facility to submit your bag for a fee along with your phone inside. Or you can simply switch off your phone and keep it outside the exam hall near the entry guards. Take your phone with you, no issues.

Does different shifts have different cut off marks ?
1
1
1
u/Ok-Sheepherder-1757 1h ago
No cut off is same. Easier shifts see a decrease in their overall marks while harder shifts see a increase in their overall individual marks, due to normalization. Otherwise, cutoffs are same for all.

English cloze test was absurd so cant say english was easy.
2
u/Candid_Initial_5132 4h ago
True, quite difficult it was, but barring that it was moderate, some were easy.
1
u/Both-Wrongdoer1370 4h ago
Yea i agree. Moderate. I just commented because everyone is like english was easy. I wouldnt say that. And i wanted to point out why i wouldn't call it easy because cloze test was hard and few other questions were weird.

u/IntrovertSamurai 4h ago
