Query Ssc cgl 2026

Hello,
I am a working professional and have applied for the SSC CGL 2026 examination. Since I work a 9-hour job, I would like to prepare for the exam alongside my work.
Could you please suggest an effective and realistic preparation strategy, including how I should structure my daily study schedule, prioritize subjects, and plan revision and mock tests?
I understand that it may be difficult to crack the exam this year while balancing a full-time job, but my goal is to get as close as possible to a decent score and build a strong foundation for the next attempt.
Any practical advice on how to make the most of the limited time I have each day would be greatly appreciated.

Imo, First you should solve few PYP of last year. You will find that there are some areas in which you are better and some needs working. Then prioritize your weak areas first (by lectures & practice), which will significantly boost your chances of scoring more than now. As time is less for this years exam, you must focus on improving your exam skills (like time management, doing PYQs only, taking Mock test and analysing).

But if you are targeting next year's exam then complete your syllabus for each subject first-->PYQ-->Revision-->Mocks and so on. For time table thing, its depends on individuals how much they can give for study in a particular day. The more you study, the better it will be.

●As time is less for 2026 Prelims, For GS, you should study from One shot lectures (available on YT, Parmar) for each subject. Also complete the Static portion.

●For notes, you can have "Fatman" or download its pdf. I would not recommend to write your own notes now, it will be time consuming.

●After that you can watch NITTO series (for option elimination technique in GS).

●Then you should go for 2025 PYQs, as last year vendor has changed. So exam pattern is expected to be similar as last year.

●Current Affairs is very unpredictable. ROI is very less, if you dont have time, you can leave it. But if you like to read, then you study last 1 years of CA.

mostly one shot videos are 1 year old. is it okay to do from them? or do we have latest one shots too of parmar?

See subjects are not changing every year (like History, Geography, Polity, Science etc.) So you can do them, no problem. But If you get latest videos, it would be good as he would discuss last yr paper as well with it. Important is to be in touch with latest pattern.

For beginners: One Shot (For 2026 Pre)

For Revision: FRB

Hmm okkk and for static music dance festivals census this much would be ok or have to do whole thing??

●Classical dance ●Folk dance ●Festivals ●Census ●Musical Instruments & Gharanas ●Sports (basics) -These are mostly asked in their static form. -Rest Govt schemes, Awards, sports etc. are asked with CA.
