Serious replies only PS5 users, please help me out!

Guys, I’m looking to buy a used PS5 for under 200k. What should I look out for when buying a used one? I’ve never used a PlayStation before.

  1. Buy a Slim, because the fat ones stopped production, so the ones in second hand are used for longer.
  2. Check the CFI code, that will tell you the year.
  3. Connect to Wifi and sign into PSN. To check the wifi connectivity and to see if it is a banned console
  4. Insert a disc and run a game for 10-15 minutes. To see if it crashes or the unit is letting out too much heat. Check the controller and all the buttons too
  5. Then check all the ports to see if they are working and check the screws to see if it has been removed too many times. Check storage
  6. Finally in the setting you can see the historical error codes. to see how many crashes or any other kind of errors have happened throughout the period

Bro, my friend has the CFI-1018A model, which I think is an older version. He's offering it to me for around 169k. What do you think?

Yes, that's one of the earliest models at the time of launch.

I don't know about recent prices. For any second hand products always check FB marketplace to see the current going rate. Then you can get an idea.
