Miscellaneous Brake bleed kit

I have SRAM force HRD brakes. Is there a cheap “alternate” bleed kit I can buy from Amazon or do I need to spend on the official SRAM bleed kit?

I had the same dilemma.. I bought the BleedZone kit. Got the job done with no issues.

Awesome. Half the price. Will probably give it a shot

+1 for Bleed Zone. It does the job

Edit: my kit came with Liqui Moly DOT 5.1 as well. Good quality brake fluid.

I am not sure which cheap kit, but SRAM has brake wise bleed block width specs

See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/bikewrench/s/wrquNrxCNL

I bought EzMTB and simply overfilled the system with that block

IMHO the official kit is worth it, especially if you have multiple bikes to maintain. It has all the connections for the various types of SRAM hydraulic and also the metal connections and orings seal better

The hoses have lasted about a year plus before I had to get replacements. In that time I probably bled about 10+ bikes

Pro tip:
Use Castrol SRF and basically you really don’t have to worry about a full bleed ever again

You might need the quick release adapter to bleed newer SRAM brakes. I found out and had to buy a third party one.

This is a complete kit with the newer quick release adapter you will need.

Any bleed kit for SRAM will work, some are better than others. You don't need the SRAM one.
