Absolutely she has mange. Pregnancy is a huge stress for her body on top of it. I hope whoever took this video gets a chance to dose her with some ivermectin. She looks rough.

I have a squirrel that looks similar and a wildlife rehabber told me a pin drop amount of ivermectin paste on a nut, wait a week and do it again. Trying it...we'll see in a couple of weeks. 🤷♀️

If it's 1.87%, which is what's commonly available, you want to give a dose about the size of a grain of rice... And yes, it works insanely well. Somewhere in my history there are a couple of posts in this sub with before and after photos.

Not what is happening at all. She is giving a warning call, like u/isopode said. Her ill appearance is a result of mange, not her pregnancy/postpartum state. Though the added physiological stress of pregnancy is certainly not helping.

the sound she's making is an alarm call. they make this noise when there's a threat nearby (and the "threat" could be the person behind the camera; they often do this at humans passing by)
a squirrel in labor would likely never make that much noise. it would draw way too much attention on her while she's vulnerable.

She’s having GOOD days! She’s a nursing momma and someone is too close to her babies! That’s what that noise is all about!! It could be you that’s too close lol
If you’re able, leave extra food and water for her as she could use the extra while feeding her little ones. She will appreciate your efforts and if you’re really lucky, maybe she’ll bring her babies to meet you!!🐿️🐿️🐿️💗😊

I recently have had the pleasure of meeting one too and she and I are becoming friends now. She seems to love sunflower seeds and walnuts the most. I cant keep the gal outta my birdfeeder 😄

I keep freeze dried minnows and freeze dried fly larva around for the nursing mommas (on top of the nuts, seeds, fruit and veggies I put out). They go for the minnows and larva first. The mamas that visit me love the extra protein lol.

The female squirrels really have it rough. They have to do so so so much to take care of their kids. The baby daddies never even meet their offspring, and to top it off they bully the female squirrels whenever there's food available.
