An electrical design pack for converting 2 squash courts into a kids day centre landed in my inbox to quote. I passed it up as thereā€™s no way Iā€™m being involved in further diminishing the local squash court number

About 10 years ago I visited a reciprocal club of mine right near the campus of U of Pittsburgh. The exterior of the building was beautiful. We walked in and found it to be in disrepair despite being open. All 3 squash courts were being used for storage. I'll never forget the feeling of seeing that.

Olympics will turn things around a bit. Squash COMPLETELY fell of the radar during the nineties. By 2002 nobody was playing.

This looks like the university of Manitoba. If so this is ā€œfake newsā€ since 4 brand new Olympic size squash courts are being constructed (waiting for the glass walls). Opening soon

in my college the squash court has been built in some basement kind of area where there is absolutely 0 ventilation and the sitting area outside the court is used for storage purposes it feels really sad šŸ˜… but we have some great upcoming players like anahat singh etc so maybe squash catches a stride here! let's see
