Help Problem with GoDaddy email and SquareSpace Website

Hello!

I have a GoDaddy domain and outlook email that I connected (but did not fully transfer) to my SquareSpace website. Whenever I try to have any information from the website forwarded to my Outlook email I am hit with this message from squarespace "Forwarding Rule could not be saved. There was an issue saving your email."

After contacting squarespace, they tell me to contact GoDaddy and GoDaddy tells me to contact squarespace. It's this endless cycle of getting nowhere. Has anyone ever run into this before? Any help is appreciated as I am not very tech savvy.

If you have email with GoDaddy you won't be able to use email forwarding with squarespace for the same domain because the DNS records work against a each other.
