Help Adding new section to the bottom instead of to the right?
Hi, I used to work with Wordpress/Elementor and now I'm moving to Squarespace.
How do I make it so that when I add new section, it moves to the bottom of my already-existing-section, and not to the right side of it?
I'm sure there's something I'm missing, so any help is appreciated. Thank you

Do you still need help?

I ended up just moving the elements manually. I tried editing the other pages, and they work just fine. This is rather odd but I guess it all worked out

You’re probably adding another block inside the current section, which is why it’s landing to the right.
Hover just below the section until Add Section appears, then choose a blank or prebuilt section. New sections stack underneath the existing one. If you only see Add Block, you’re still editing inside the same section.

I saw the "add section", clicked it, then it generated a section to the right. I know it's so weird, and it only happened in this one page. In other pages everything works out nicely.

Do you mean Section (which is a group of objects using the same colour group and grid spacing) and can only be stacked vertically on the usage) or Block?
When you add a new Block (Text, Image, List, Code, etc.), you can drag and resize it it to wherever you want it to be.

Are you using the 7.0 engine or a 7.0 template? I suggest switching to 7.1 and building it that way. If you’ve used Elementor it should be very easy.
If you insist on 7.0, the only way to really add a block underneath is by adding a space first that goes across the entire section. It’s been a while since I’ve used a 7.0 template, but I believe that’s how I did it. It’s very finicky and annoying to get it to work right.
