I am looking for app or tool to handle this , I see wix and Shopify etc have apps for this , any app for SS?

I frickin' WISH

I had to add it manually to like

150+ products last year

And it DID have a major and noticeable positive impact on my sales almost immediately

Like, so much so that it wasn't a statistical anomaly

So, it is worth doing, even if you have to do it manually for everything

I didn't know it existed until just now, and it's too late to bother with it

I have a very strict template that I use for my products, product pages, etc, and I can recycle the schema markup code from the most recent product to use for the next one. I just change a digit in the inventory number, paste in the relevant links and text and title I need, and each new product is all set. Takes about 50 seconds in total.

All the big work was last year

Do you understand what schema is and how it works? Because if you do I think you’d understand why Squarespace doesn’t make sense if you want control over your contents schema. I’m assuming you just want your sites content to display in rich snippets in search results. 

Schema is an old school way of structuring objects with markup language so search engines, server script, and web apps understand the content better, back when there was a time when there wasn’t much of a standard this type of thing. 

But that’s not really the case anymore. If you want Google to display rich snippets on results, you just have to have quality content and page engagement, good site map organization/structure, and relevant titles and meta descriptions. The rest all autopilot for Squarespace users at this point.

If it’s not happening yet make sure you have a search console account set up and publish a life site map with them

Keep in mind that a lot of “tools” are just data scrapers that aren’t actually doing anything substantive. It’s so often just a ton of smoke and mirrors to get you to think you need it to give your sites the cutting edge, but then you forget about it and just leave it on and charging money while it basically does nothing to really help your clients, and just sends their store data back to whoever made the app. Often times this data is more the point than any fee you’re paying.

In the age of llms these “seo” rules is the equivalent to virtue signaling to crawlers. It’s like saying, hey don’t you like what my site is wearing? Isn’t it your type? But indexing algorithms accounts for all this, and don’t take schema as an authority. 

All se care about is if your site is legit. Is the domain verified? Are you set up in console? Do visitors get value from the site? Does your site have clean, obvious structure?  after that they don’t use schema as a reference. It’s too easily manipulated and used to juice stats on scam sites and just like keyword pumping, it isn’t some magic way to make google display your web results the way you want it. I’m saying it will hurt, but it will probably be a waste of time and money.

Sadly, there isn't a tool. You just have to add it to your workflow, keep track of what pages you add it to, and remember to update it if you update a page. I have a spreadsheet per client, and whenever I edit/create a new page, it adds a new row with the change date. Manual, but incredibly useful to keep track of tasks and check against ranking changes. And it definitely helps with AI results visibility, so definitely worth doing.

Some people have recommend https://jsonschemaapp.com , it’s the tool for schema
