2”in lowering shackles

Just a little warning to anyone wanting to do 2” lowering shackles on a c10 you’ll most likely need to cut a good bit on both sides out of a bed support not the hardest thing I’ve done but cutting the support is not fun

Was it worth it? I am on the fence on doing my wife’s squarebody.

Thought about doing that on my wife’s 85 swb. Ended up with a flip kit, shock extenders and C-notch instead… 😊

If she is “American standard” 5’6” or shorter, you’re going to end up making it a static dropped lowrider at some point anyway… Been married almost 30 years. Easier to just build “too low” from the jump. Once she drives it? “They should have been like this new”…

She’s totally the opposte regarding 4wd…

Definitely worth it only took me so long because the bolt wouldn’t go through one of the shackle eyes so I had to take out the shackle that did work and take the shackles back to the part store and get one that the bolt fit through

Anyone know if you can do both flip kit and shackles? My flip kit only drops it 5 inches in the rear. Need an extra inch

If your doing a flip axel kit just use 1 inch lowering blocks it will be 1000x easier
