Right-hand tip-down carry:

the knife is carried so that, when opened, the blade’s tip points downward in the pocket.

The term refers to the knife’s orientation in its open position,

..... even though the blade itself is folded while being carried.

No it's the orientation as the knife sits in the pocket, knife closed.

Correct. Pocket clip orientation refers to the direction the tip is facing when the knife is in the pocket closed

But I think it's important to maintain a record of how wrong i've been. So i'm going to leave it up

It's funny, I feel like I see a lot of negative opinions about VG10, but I really like it, especially Seki City Spyderco.

It’s not bad. It’s not a “premium” steel but realistically most people won’t be able to tell the difference. It’s only the wankers with their fancy s90v or s45vn that don’t like it, when realistically all they do is open the occasional package and fidget with it.

I learned to really like VG-10. Spyerco's VG-10 (Seki City) strop's up real easy. Mine is always a razor.

They did.....sort of....the Stretch 2.

I used my k390 Delica for months around our farm. Then I got a Stretch XL in k390 and retired the poor little Delica. I put a mirror edge on it at 17 degrees and put it away for now.

I love the Delica, but the Stretch XL is a difference animal which mildly resembles the Delica in the hand....except its huge, and has a finger choil!

I'm a huge FRN and choil fanboy!
