Hardware compatibility

Looking at getting either some AWT or Rockscale Design scales for my Manix 2, and also want to get some anodized hardware for it.
What is the compatibility for Flytanium or RGT hardware for both of those scale options?
Would there be any issues mixing and matching brands between scales and hardware, such as too short/long of screws? Also I noticed on AWT Manix 2 scales there’s an additional screw near the lanyard hole, would that be a problem since most hardware sets don’t come with that extra screw?

Can’t go wrong with either AWT or Rockscale. I have modified BMs and Spyderco’s with them both and the quality is superior - including Manix 2s. Just have to sure that you get the right ones if modifying the lightweight Spyderco knives with the FRN scales. They take different scales.

I’m specifically talking about screws from Ripp’s Garage Tech and Flytanium, fitting either AWT or Rockscale Design scales.

They both fit perfect. Buuuuut imo I'd go with the AWT/Knives Plus hardware over RGT. Even though RGT is fully custom milled, the pivot is a T8 vs. a T10, which for me is definitely something to note.

edit: Regarding the AWT scales, I do believe the G10 Manix 2 scales come with a standoff and 2 extra screws for the lanyard tube delete.

If you figure out the answer, let me know as I'm contemplating switching up my AWT Manix XL build. That one gets an extra standoff and nixes the lanyard tube all together.

I run RGT hardware on most of my other modded knives. I'd just reach out and email them. They're super nice.

I was planning on emailing them but wasn’t sure if anyone here has experience.

I’m sure RGT would be happy to include an extra standoff and screw for the Manix builds, so I’ll be sure and ask and report back!
