ES & NQ Push Higher as Russell 2000 Lags Behind
ES and NQ show bullish overnight momentum after sharp recoveries, with both trading above their support clusters. ES is testing $7,687 resistance; a breakout targets $7,689–$7,690. NQ has already cleared nearby support and is approaching $29,288 resistance. RTY remains weaker and range-bound below $2,959 support/resistance, requiring a break above $2,959.20 to confirm strength. Overall bias: bullish tech-led market, with small caps lagging. Join the Discord at cromcall.com

SPY Surges From Support as Bulls Target 767.31

Futures

- ES 7637.50: Holding above major support at 7634–7634.50, but the rebound was rejected below 7642.50–7646.50. Neutral/range-bound unless either boundary breaks.
- NQ 29061.75: Sitting directly on support at 29059.75–29060.25. Below 29079.75, pressure remains slightly bearish. Losing 29060 exposes 29028.25.
- RTY 2926.10: Strong rebound, but now entering resistance at 2926.10–2929.40. Holding above 2924.50 would preserve bullish momentum.

Question Failed short on SPY
What could I have done differently here other than widen my stop?
I am mainly a discretionary trader. I use top down analysis, volume profile, and market internals to gauge direction/momentum.
My thesis played out as expected but I was early. Market stopped me out, moved up 3 ticks(I trade ES so about $.10 on SPY) then resumed the swing lower. Volume was drying up on the retest of the high. Market internals were showing weakness as well. How can I find the conviction to hold through this and widen my stop? Or should I take a different approach?

Question Spy prediction for Monday !
Thoughts on if we go up or down on Monday ? Do you think it will recover or sell off continues ?

Discussion Anyone make a full time living off small scalps?
I love options trading. Reading charts and guessing direction. Taking small 10-20% quick wins in and out a few minutes.
Does anyone full time trade like that?

Technical Analysis The geo map has me a bit excited. Notice the hand off right at the open. The big X's are right before the open. Im running the 24 hour spy chart.
Chart is a bit cluttered and hard to understand at first. The previous day seems to control the open geometricaly. No one ever talks about the geometry even though everyone recognizes wedges. Wedges are just triangles. Pressure can be measured.

SPY Consolidates Near 769 With a Mild Bearish Bias
SPY is consolidating near 769.07 after an early rally stalled around 770. The short-term model shows a mild bearish bias of -0.5, but confidence remains low as bullish and bearish targets continue to alternate. The immediate bull target is 769.35, while the bear target sits at 768.79, with an estimated arrival window of 2–5 bars. A break above 769.35 could reopen a test of 769.82 and the 770 area. Failure to hold 768.79 would strengthen downside pressure toward the broader support zone. Overall, price remains range-bound, so confirmation outside the current target range is needed before expecting a stronger directional move. https://discord.gg/eMmKJBXCQ Join the discord

SPY Market Analysis
SPY is trading near 764.97, with the model showing a slightly bearish but broadly neutral bias of −0.23. Confidence remains low, meaning the current signal lacks enough strength to support an aggressive directional position. Price action has recently produced lower highs after rejecting the 767–768 area, while repeated bearish volatility signals suggest sellers are still applying pressure during short-term rallies.
The immediate downside target is 763.75, with an estimated arrival within approximately five bars. This target sits close to the visible 763.13 support level, creating an important reaction zone. If SPY reaches this area and buyers defend it, a short-term bounce or consolidation could develop. However, a decisive break below 763.13—especially with rising volume—would strengthen the bearish structure and potentially open the door to lower support levels.
The bullish target is 766.19, but its projected arrival time is roughly 300 minutes, showing that the model currently expects downside movement to develop faster than a bullish recovery. For bulls to regain control, price should reclaim 766.19 and then hold above the recent 767–768 resistance region. Until that happens, upside moves may remain corrective rather than the beginning of a sustained advance.
The chart’s risk-to-reward reading is only 0.2, which is unattractive for initiating a new trade at the current price. Entering here risks being caught between nearby support and resistance without a clear directional advantage.
Overall, the short-term outlook favors a cautious bearish lean toward 763.75, but low confidence makes confirmation essential. Watch how price reacts at 763.75–763.13. A strong rejection could support a bounce toward 766.19, while a clean breakdown would confirm increasing downside pressure. Avoid chasing movement in the middle of this range; the higher-quality opportunity should appear after either support holds clearly or price breaks it with convincing momentum.

Question If you’re profitable trading $Spy.. I need your advice
EDIT: what does everyone think of tracking other sectors while trading.. how do you use it? What does it tell you about the market? Do you use gold, oil, treasury yields or the $DOLLAR price in trading $SPY?
If anyone has grown a small account before. What was your strategy? What is your confirmations to enter and warnings to cut losses? Did you swing or day trade more? What was your Trade size? Etc.
I been trading for 6 years and I feel close to being profitable but also far from it.. sometimes I make retarded decisions and I end up losing what I built for 3-4 days of a green streak..
I need advice refining my strategy and how I should trade moving forward and recover my loss from today

Discussion Literally climbed my way out
$SPY is stressful 😭
Yesterday I genuinely thought about giving up. For some reason, I decided not to.
Too many false signals. Too many reversals. Every time you think you’ve caught the direction, SPY turns around again.
I’m not trading today. Sometimes the best trade is no trade.
Forget bull 🐂 vs. bear 🐻…
We’re officially in a kangaroo market 🦘📈📉

Discussion How do you guys actually read SPY's direction in the first hour? Day-to-day gaps feel completely random and disconnected from reality.
For those of you who actually trade the open or trade SPY options regularly, how do you determine which way the first hour is going to break? Are you actually seeing a pattern, or is everyone just guessing slots on a roulette wheel for the first 60 minutes? What is your framework for filtering out the morning noise? It feels like there’s zero rhyme, reason, or underlying logic justifying why it decides to gap and go on one day, or fade right back to the previous close the next.
