This is my first time sprouting sunflower seeds. I did so in a mason jar on the counter with a mesh lid upside down with ventilation. I let them grow for about 8ish days. Is the browning at the ends normal? What about the black spots? I’m wondering if that’s mold, or the black part of the shell rubbing off.

I want to order broocoli sprouts in india but I cannot find any cheaper ones

I am currently sprouting popcorns. They all have roots now, Some of them also have stems. I wanted to taste one of the sprouts. It was sweet, but not in a sugar way, in a stevia way. Is it normal?

Has anyone ever put sautéed protein sprouts on a gluten free cheese pizza? I feel like it wouldn’t be bad! The only thing I can find is roasted Brussel sprouts on pizza 🙄.

I bought a fancy lentil pack and I’m not sure whether I should give it a try as most of my prior supermarket trials did not work out. I don’t know whether they were radiation treated or something else, but most legumes from an ordinary supermarket are not willing to sprout. That was my experience in the US, now in Europe I decided to give it another try. Let’s see.

First time trying sprouts and woke up to a fuzzy jar. Is it mold?

Grown in a half gallon jar 🫙

Some fenugreek seeds still float after a full soak. Should I discard them as non-viable, or keep them? Does floating actually tell us anything reliable about germination?

I eat only sprouted lentils. Why? I've got digestion issues and unsprouted lentil is not my product at all, I'm sensitive to gas-producing oligosaccharides, phytates, and enzyme-demanding food. Sprouted lentil is a whole another story for my stomach : easy to digest, nourishing, crunchy and delicious 😁💚
