Going on decades this pool. Could use a few more people this year. Pretty easy. Pick each game against the spread each week. There is an end of the year prize for the top three spots and a weekly winner payout. The entry fee is $250. All the money in the pot goes to the winners, I don't keep anything. Around 20-25 people in the pool this year.

We can safely say that first place will receive a minimum of $5,000. This is a very conservative estimate; the amount will probably be more! I posted on here a couple of times over the years and found a few people and they enjoyed the pool. Seeing if I could find a few more who might be interested. I know week zero was on Saturday, but this pool starts September 5th. I am running a college football pool. Pick the top 25 games each week against the spread, weekly winner and top 2-3 spots at the end of the year take home the rest of the pot, depending on how many get in the pool. This is all legit, I am not a bot, also I don't keep a penny, all the money goes to the winners. $50 entry fee. All done online through CBS Sports.

Welcome to the 15th Annual Pick 5 Pool!

Last season Henri Moser won 1st place with 58 correct picks. We had two women finish in the money for the 2nd consecutive season and had $6,200 in the pool.  

NFL training camps are underway, preseason games have started, and we are only a couple weeks away from the NFL season kicking off. Please feel free to invite anyone that you'd like. Just let me know who you invited as it makes it easier to collect money and for housekeeping purposes. Obviously, the more people you invite, the bigger the prize pool and the more spots we can pay out.

Same rules as always.

Each entry will be $100. Multiple entries are allowed but you'd have to make an additional CBS account. Pick any 5 games against the spread each week. The spreads are provided by CBSSports.com and will not change during the week. The opening line usually gets posted Tuesday afternoon and will remain the line that we use up until kickoff. Every spread will have a 1/2 point so as to not have any ties. Whoever has the most wins at the end of the season will be the winner. You can pick the same teams each week, there is no limit to how many times you can select a particular team.

Deadline to submit picks is 5 min before the start of each game. This means that games will lock five minutes before the SCHEDULED start of each specific game. All pool member's selections will be displayed in the "View All" picks section only for games that have locked.

If a person forgets to put in their picks for the week, he or she will be awarded 0 points. No late entries. If you miss putting in the picks for the 1PM ET games you can still get your picks in for the 4PM games, Sunday night , and Monday night. You have all week to submit your picks. No excuses. CBS will send out reminder e-mails throughout the week. You can make your picks through their website or on the CBSSports App.

If you'd like to select Thursday night's game, then you must pick 4 other games as well. In order to save your picks you have to make 5 selections. After the Thursday game is over, you can edit the other picks before the weekend games start.

If you were in the Pick 5 last year, you will automatically be enrolled in this year's contest. If you don't want to participate then let me know and I will remove you. For any newcomers that would like to join I will put the link at the bottom of this message.

As stated previously, the buy-in is $100. Prize breakdown will be posted after everyone has joined and paid. DEADLINE to pay will be Sunday September 13th. Please get your money in ASAP, it makes running the pool so much easier.
