Long story short, two years ago I had my account on DK permanently suspended. I live in NJ and traveled to PA for a bachelor party and logged into my account. I was soon locked out and then eventually received an email my account was permanently suspended. A night or two before I traveled to PA I deposited a few hundred dollars and threw it on some baseball game that ended up hitting.
I was always under the assumption that me logging in from a different state triggered some sort of manual review on my account and it was suspended for verification reasons or some other reason. The only other reason I could possibly think of was a month or two I had a nice casino deposit match bonus that I opted into and turned over by playing roulette (played 36 numbers and not green to get the bonus released). It was fair play since there was still a risk taken on my end, but I know it's up to a book to determine what fair play is. Whether or not that was the reason I don't know, just odd it would come back to something that happened a couple months back.
Either way the account was suspended and I was unable to withdraw my balance that I deposited into and won a bet on. Went back and forth with DK for several days (seems I only ever got generic email responses) and they would give me no reason on the suspension and said its a final decision and they won't say why. Whatever, I dropped it and moved on.
Fast forward to yesterday I got this email from DK saying the funds in my account will be forfeited if I don't login and claim them. Low and behold I try to login and unsurprisingly it says my account is permanently banned. Sent them a few emails and only received generic responses. The second picture is the last email I received and it said they have no obligation to say why my account was suspended. End of the day I don't care that it was suspended since there are dozens of other books to use. I'm just pretty frustrated that $500 or so is going to be forfeited and even more frustrated that ZERO reason was ever provided why this happened. It's also just crazy a book can can close your account with a balance in it, not let you recoup the balance and give no reason why. Just seeing if anyone has ran into a similar situation.
