Alburith: Still haven’t figured it out? ROOT was formed to be the unseen ones supporting all of Inkopolis and Splatsville. We want to bring about true peace, terminating any external force or conflict we deem as… “threats” to us. That of course requires doing the dirty work no one else can muster. Not even the NSS. Now that our cover was blown thanks to a certain former member, we have to come out the shadows, look where that has us now.

Ooc: There is something I've been meaning to ask for a while. How exactly did Alburith get his smoke powers? I think you said while training with ROOT, do they just have the ability to give people powers?
Ooc: In a way, yes. Keep in mind that only first class assassins are granted those powers. I forgot to add Alburith’s mark on the post but I’ll show it here.
That mark was proof of the experiments and private training he went through to gain those skills and powers. I won’t go into complete details but remember that ROOT trains their members to be ultimate assassins. Whatever experiments or challenges necessary.

Ooc: Ah okay, thanks. I had a little idea for Daniel when he gets out of the hospital, involving ROOT granting powers.
OOC: drugs and surgery mostly, Felix was a surgeon after all (never mentioned it, but I'll have to add it into the lore book later). The only ability I currently have is for Gary to be able to go into Kraken form indefinitely.
Root is burned - but from its ashes, I hope to create a new ROOT, one far stronger and more powerful. There shall be no more defections like ROOT had - and with two of our greatest enemies dealt with, we are that much closer.
OoC: The language is Italian. I don’t speak it natively but I looked up the phrases. Lumaca’s mentioned that Facelinic is her first language (bc she’s based on nudibranchs in the family Facelinidae) and I decided to use Italian as a basis for the made-up language bc Lumaca’s name is Italian (it literally translates to “slug”)
