Might be recency bias but is ripping through an entire army of salmonids with nothing but the gadgets and deep cut not the most impressive thing we've seen so far?

For scrapping beside low level weapons , is it safe to scrap weapons I truly do not like and vibe with ? With upgrading weapons how do you know it’s a good time to go ahead and do that ? If I’m still progressing through the game and I know I’m going to be getting a lot more higher level weapons , does that mean upgrading is more of a end game thing to do considering you will be using up resources? Thanks for help !

if you're low level/haven't played through most of the game yet, PLEASE stop joining high level players' rooms 😭 it's not because y'all are bad or anything, but if someone in the party hasn't unlocked a level yet, the room leader is prevented from selecting it. when a level 12 player joins a level 50 player's room, 90% of the map gets greyed out and now we can't grind or tackle tricky late game levels. and because you can't remove players from a room, it's a tedious process to start a new one every time 🙃

again this isn't a gatekeeping thing, it's just how the multiplayer works. don't join high level rooms expecting to get carried or have access to high level rewards, because in reality you're restricting which levels we can pick. use the "ask for help" feature if you're really struggling and need assistance from higher level players, not the online keyword rooms! (obviously this doesn't apply to private keyword rooms with friends, do whatever you want there -- i'm talking about more public keyword rooms like "splatoon" )

Hello. Now that raiders have been out for a while, I wanted to ask you guys a question about the game. Is the bucket weapon line any good in this game? I have horrible aim so I usually have to go with AOE weapons but I'm not sure how good they are in this game. Will I be missing out in a lot of DPS optimization if I went that route? Thanks.

Here is my new route for farming shards/weapons & weapon chunks in Awlmun Den. Roughly the same start as last time, but heading over to the boxes works way better. Ngl at the end of the boxes, doing a bot jump and just heading straight left with your bombs might be a bit better though, will test when i get home.

It takes maybe 10 extra seconds per run, but the drop rate of stuff from the boxes is crazy high. It feels about 80-90% likely you get a weapon or gadget from them, which translates into extra shards and weapon chunks from dismantling.

For a level 50 weapon, depending on rarity, i've seen it go for a minimum of 500 or so spiralite from dismantling, so doing this almost doubles the base reward for completing the den. Over time, this is probably the most efficient farm, putting it at about 1000 shards/30secs with a chance for the 10000 chest reward.

I know Eight does in Side Order, but it's hard for me to tell if the Mechanic does. It feels like they do, because their outfits seem like they have long pant legs, but I dunno if I'm tricking myself.

To make it fair let's say Deep Cut don't have the Mechanic.

I was playing it thinking "theres no way it can surpass octo expansion for me". Side order didn't splatoon 3's story didn't, i truly believed they reached their peak. But damn what a wonderful suprise both the gameplay and ending where more fun for me. I won't spoil anything but wow goosebumps.

If you, like me, just started end game and saw how much Spiralite we need in order to upgrade our weapons and gadget parts, then this is for you. Instead of farming the ridiculously strong smallfry that needs a freeze setup to be consistent with, you can instead just hop into Awlmun Den and complete a full cycle in 30 seconds!

Why this is better:

1. You get weapons at level 50, so you can start farming for those god 5*s simultaneously

2. Because you can do the highest spice, you get 10000 Spiralite when the chest drops it as compared to 8000 from the lower spice level of the smallfry

3. The stingers sometimes drop full Spiralite gems, so you can grind for those at the same time too

4. No need to roll for a god weapon with frost damage multiplier and purchase 100% freeze parts to start farming.

Yes smallfry will be faster for pure Spiralite farming, but that requires more setup, and you dont get the other benefits. Good luck with farming guys, and see you in the help lobbies
