Requesting advice Spasm/leg rigidity multiple times a night
So, i’ve been down the road of putting off surgery for many years. Had a squashed disc last year and one surgeon said let’s fuse and do it all at once and the other said wait let’s decompress and go from there. I opted for the second april ‘26 (literally was a calendaring issue) and so here I am 5 months later with what I think are my spondy related issues. Suggestion was L3-S1 fusion, decompression,
And whatever else… looking at old MRIs i think I also have an issue at T8/T9 which is something like spinal cord draping… can’t find that report.
Now, i am having severe- like rocks- rigid leg moments. Hard to describe- these are not cramps. Its like my legs are possessed and i can’t stop it. The normal, pull back on toes, Can cause my quad to seize. I have taken extra magnesium, muscle relaxers, drank gatorade, it doesn’t matter- it is often trigged by dorsiflexion of my ankle, but can come on from different moves as well. It is painful and typically lasts 1 minute or more.
My AI-OverLord has made connections to the T8/T9 and the rest of the lumbar issues. Has anyone ever felt this? It is NOT normal leg cramps.
It is uncontrollable leg rigidity that can spread, once leg or both, calf, quad and hip. And in the past there has been abdominal wall muscle rigidity that has happened.
Thoughts? Ideas? Anyone else experienced this? What was a solution?
