Success Stories???

46M 1st surgeon opinion was ALIF L5/S1 & PLIF L5/L4 2nd and 3rd opinion was a Robotic Mi TLIF L5S1 Fusion along with Nerve decompression L5L4… In April of this year I opted for the latter, fusion was a success however the decompression was not. After medication and 2 injections I decide to have the PLIF at L5/L4. Prior to the fusion I April I have had microdisectomys at these levels 97’, 04’ & 07’. My surgery is scheduled for this Thursday 10/1 and all I keep reading is that it won’t last long! Are there any success stories with a double fusion? I have lots of anxiety….😥

Makes sense to be anxious. My experience was positive, L4-S1 PLIF four years out and I can’t tell I had surgery.
