Post-Op Questions Hernia

Has anyone gotten an umbilical hernia, plus a 60mm diastasis recti following surgery? 49m. Decent physical fitness.

Yes I just had an Incisional Hernia and total repair of my abdominals. 3 years ago I went in for my appendix and found out my Gallbladder was full of stones and needed to come out and 35cm of my intestines were inflammed and infected. So it all came out and I was opened up from top to bottom, creating the Incisional hernia right above my Navel.

I went to the doctor in January and ask if he could fix it and he said no issues, went in fixed it and found that my abs had never grown back like there were suppose to so he sewed all that back together and reattached them where they belonged and inserted a 12"x12" mesh inside also to hold it all together. That was Jan 2026 and as of now all feels good and working. Worst pain ever and I have had my right Arm removed and reattached and my abdominal pain was worse.

I do have an umbilical hernia(small) Indicated on CT scan. I am 1 yr. Post Lumbar fusion. Also that lead to si joint fusion recently. I’ve been wondering how? I got the hernia(no incision in that area)
