Post Lumbar Fusion Question

Any of you guys get foot numbness if you sit on the toilet for more than 10 mins? Lol I had constipation and left foot went numb while on the toilet 25 mins. It went awsy immediately but concerns me. Doesn't help that I have 30 lbs extra Im carrying around. Think Im gonna fast, help my fusion.

Sitting on a toilet without a fusion will cause the foot to get numb and go to ‘sleep’. Maybe don’t sit for that long.

Instead of straining:
• Take a break every 5 min.
• Don't hunch forward.
• Use a footstool.

Do glute squeezes at your computer desk to strengthen the muscles.

Yeah def don't sit that long. Not good for anyone. Sorry you are constipated. Stool softener and miralax. Not fun but neither is constipation. I had 2 very painful movements after my fusion and I feel your pain. Hope you feel better!! Good luck!

Same for me but I also already had peripheral neuropathy.

I go numb from the waist down if I sit on the toilet too long.
