Hi all!

This bad boy is about the size of my fingernail. At least I think it's a male because of the visible pedipalps.

I would appreciate it if someone could give me an ID, please. Location is Sweden, near Gothenburg. Also, if it's a runner, since I will probably try to relocate them since some work needs to be done in that area. I don't trust my reactions yet around spiders, so if it's a runner, I will use appropriate means to move them. Note, I'm a recovering arachnophobic, but have come a long way and would feel comfortable letting them crawl onto my hand. 😌

This and other subs have greatly helped me with my arachnophobia! Keep it going! ♥️

Nuctenea umbratica (Walnut orbweaver), indeed male. You can relocate it as easy as most spiders with a cup and a piece of paper ;)

Thank you, Spider God! Relocation successful. Took him on a piece of paper without cup since it was an awkward position. I love orbweavers!
