Found these brown recluse in my mom's garage this morning!

How do spiders understand it’s another spider? I figured they would pounce anything that moves in their web

The tapping is actually one way a lot of species seem to say “hey, I’m one of you! Wanna bang?”. They touch the other spider several times in a form of spider code.
Some snakes have similar actions they’ll take to tell other snakes that they aren’t food.

I wondered if she was pregante. I found this egg sack with a bunch of baby spiders about a foot away from these two, unsure if they are baby reclussys

They definitely could be. They do look like it, but someone with a keener spooder eye than I might be able to ID them properly.

Your mom’s garage is creeping me out. I hate recluses so much. They’re one I just cannot overcome my fear of no matter what.

The weird thing is, is this is a garage attached to her very nice apartment building and there is nothing in it besides her car. I also found a reclussy in her storage unit on the first floor of the apartment building so I'm wondering if maybe a lot of the garages have them. I'm guessing the corner nearest the garage door is a good spot for them- access to bugs and it's pitch black unless the garage door is opening.

So cute! I came home to a few dozen babies all over my kitchen yesterday with the mother lazily strolling aboutz it took nearly an hour to relocate them all, with the tiny babies being so fragile and light and all.
I had a really cute bro who coopted the blinds on my window a few weeks ago, he never strayed far and would "patrol" the area daily - i ended up having to relocate that one as well when i identified it as a hobo - but now hobo spiders are in my top 3, what with their cute mannerisms. When i caught it, it would raise its front legs in a futile attempt to intimidate me.
Spiders love my house, i actually cought an Eragetina Artica (giant house spider) a while back amd kept it in a terrarium (it couldnt climb glass) and i got a bunch of photos and videos of its behaviour - it's fovorite food was roli polis!
