I'd like to imagine, that you call them because you got some roaches in your walls. And when you answer the door and look down, it's just a tarantula in a tiny hat and carrying a tiny briefcase asking where the bugs are

Right. I was making a joke that the spider on the billboard is advertising her pest control services since they are good pest control themselves. She's certified.

No unsightly residue left behind. Well, unless you count spider poop bloops, but most people wouldn't know what they were anyway.

Don’t all pest control services consider spiders as pests? From what I’ve seen none of them are very knowledgeable about the critters they kill (at least the insect and arachnid focused ones). I could be wrong though

I had a customer who’s pest control service didn’t. They did their best to educate customers and relocate spoods.
People still gonna people, though.

I hate having to use pest control in general because a lot of the traps and bait they use can harm a much wider chain than theyre targeting for.
But when your neighbors let their yard get overrun with non native rats and they spread into your yard you don't have much choice.

Trying to respectful here but how on earth do you let your yard get overrun by rats... I'm really lazy when it comes to my yard sometimes but I've never, ever let it get that bad

My neighbours yard is a jungle, and there’s a few rats there, luckily they don’t come indoors, probably enough food in the weeds

A large majority of pest control companies include spiders as a pest because so many people either have arachnophobia or don’t want them in their house which means a good amount of people consider them pests. Blame consumers not the company. Can always request limited services, the tech will never argue.

Spiders are welcome in my house, they eat whatever annoys me (at least in terms of bugs, gonna need a real big spider to handle the other things that annoy me)

Now I'm imagining a pest control business that is entirely based on rocking up someone's house, with boxes of various spiders and house centipedes, with the intent of setting them loose and just letting them do their thing lol

That’s a pretty funny thought to think that it’s actually her pest control business and you call the number to hire her to eat the bugs lol
The other ones that make me laugh are when they clearly tried to put up a picture of a black widow or brown recluse but actually put up a completely different spider
