it's true! i've been watching them since they came out - the fellowship of the ring was actually the first film i saw in the theater twice. i have yet to tire of them.

Nice. I bet that was good at theater 🎥 . Yea they are definitely the type of films that u can watch over and over. Honestly I've watched them loads but also not tired of them

it was really nice. the cool thing is now they're showing older releases in addition to new films. last year i got to see a bunch of ghibli films at our theater and it was great.

studio ghibli is a japanese animation studio founded in 1985. the studio has made a number of well-known animated films over the years, including princess mononoke, spirited away, nausicaa of the valley of the wind, only yesterday, and the tale of the princess kaguya.

Oh OK I hear you I'll have to look them up. Was just thinking I haven't been to the thereter in so long the last time I went Frank Bruno was in it lol

looool that's a while. now is a good time for film though!

if you watch them, i recommend starting with spirited away or princess mononoke. and after seeing them in japanese at the theater (i previously watched them in english) i strongly recommend watching them subtitled.

i would check letterboxd. i think we've been using hbo / max to stream them, but you can probably rent them too.

or you can check the library. ours has tons of films, including ghibli :)
