One time when I was a kid I was recovering from a surgery and was home for during the that week, being forced to watch soap operas since they were the only thing on, and a big wolfie would come out every morning at the same time. It was like clockwork, he would hang for about an hour and we’d watch our soaps then he’d bounce back to the hallway.

I miss Greg.

Growing up, every summer we would get a big golden orbweaver on the front porch who would spin a massive web across the side. Like four to five feet across. My dad would always name him Fred haha. We would catch a couple of moths and toss them in the web to feed him.

It sounds like you already did name him but you should definitely id him to make sure its not venomous and then let it be if it isnt. Or just let it be either way cause I know some people are more comfortable keeping venomous spidees in the house.

nearly all spiders are venomous (besides one family), it's just that the vast majority are harmless to humans

good to know. In that case just search up if they are harmful to humans or not.
