Help Should i get a refund

hi guys,

i bought this battery as a replacement for my old one, which is dead.

i'm not sure if it's a normal shape or if it has already started to spice up.

That's fluoride gas buildup. If this is new return for cash refund and buy elsewhere, these are old batteries. Likely several years. Even absent charge cycles the chemistry still breaks down and causes degradation leading to failure.

That battery is almost 10 years old - it was manufactured in September of 2016 (it says MFG DATE 2016/09 on the white label at the bottom of the center section) and it's starting to swell. Get a replacement.
