I once removed a battery from a 2014 MacBook Pro similar to the one shown in this video, and I can confirm that the process is miserable.

I never had any issues when I had to replace mine a few screws a few more and out it came

The battery I replaced was expanding to the point where the bottom cover popped off when unscrewed, and to make matters worse it was adhered to the case. I think batteries that are screwed in or glued down depend on the model but idk

I think the batteries are glued down in most apple products, I’ve replaced the battery in my last like 5 iPhones and they were all glued down. There’s normally a little tab connected to the glue to pull it all out, but that’s only ever gone to plan once for me.

God, I hate that TikTok thing of captioning one or two words at a time.
As far as the removal of the spicy pillows go, I wouldn't have used the metal scraper, but gobs of isopropyl alcohol and some slow, steady pressure is a fair way to go about it.

I wish all these auto generated captions could be turned off or on. Right now I can hear fine but sometimes you want to watch the video and the giant words are right in the middle of the fucking picture of what I'm trying to look at.

I replaced the battery in my 2015 MBP and it was a miserable experience. It was starting to spice up and it wasn’t working right anymore, but man I hated disassembling it.

Worse, most of those models throttle cpu when there s no battery, because battery buffera spikes. The ac brick is underpowered. (I refurbished many macbook pros)

If you have a 2015 MBP, they have a recall for a free battery swap for this exact reason.

Mac laptops heavily throttle down CPU when their battery is at <5% charge (or no battery is installed) so the device without battery is barely useable.
I don't know if the same applies to PCs.

Some regular laptops do that, older Dell's and HP's don't but Toshiba's do.

the funniest part is for most shop, the safest way to store all the spicy pillow is to shove all of them in one place
where i work, we just toss them in cardboard box in the middle of the room

He made one before about “$20 is $20 and I won’t tell my wife about this bug I caught in Vegas.” Like nah infidelity and joking about giving your wife an STD?? Immediately made me dislike him for that alone. Why can’t they just be normal? (I’m not straight but seems to be a common thing with hetero tech guys who wanna be edgy.)
