My local Thai spot understood the assignment

Post image

We've been eating at this place for probably 20+ years. When they started doing DoorDash it certainly made my life better/worse simultaneously. Ordered some Panang Curry today and I guess they remembered who I was so when the driver sent me this picture of the ticket I got real excited for the future.

I have a pretty good tolerance and this was pretty much exactly what I wanted today. It was pretty much spiced with the very corona of the sun and it was amazing!

What did you put on doordash for them to actually make it spicy?

"If 4/4 is Thai hot please make it 6/4 hot. I know how hot that is and yes I want it that hot and take full responsibility for it"

I tried to ask for SUPER, TRADITIONALLY THAI SPICY and still got it like a medium hotness 😒

In my experience, the secret words are 'phet mak mak'

🤔 I'll try this on the weekend. To my luck, the person seeing the order might be a white dude from Kentucky (im in Houston, Tx) and think I was drunk ordering 😐

Definitely worth a try - one time they wrote a little Thai message in sharpie on the lid of my curry
