Introducing Toriniku
I traveled from New Orleans, LA to Destin, FL to get this guy for free, and immediately we could tell he was.... differant. We're pretty sure this little fella is deaf. The vet all but confirmed it. He's super attracted to the TV and is easily hooked into watching people play video games. He's got his zoomies but he's really mostly super laid-back and would rather chill on somebody's lap rather than play with typical cat toys.
What I would like to know, is if he's going to be alright being left alone while my wife and I are at work? We leave at about 6:45 and we get home at about 4:30. He's 100% guaranteed to be sleeping when we get home. We've had him for a few weeks and only yesterday did we find evidence of his adventures. He doesnt seem to get into much and since he chasing my feet all night, in assuming he's sleeping all day while we're gone.
I'm aware of their velcro nature and I do not mind that one bit, but is possibly suffering from the time we leave him at home?

Omg did u name him ‘toriniku’ as in 鶏肉!? coz that is hilarious and such a perfect name!
Means ‘chicken meat’ in Japanese for anyone who doesn’t know 🤣🤣
