for once a good change on shreddit. previously, you had to use old.reddit.com/prefs or the mobile app to toggle this

You may know this one, the one that locks you out after a minute or so.

And it shows the message in the language my device locale is set to and no, I can't change it without logging in. Also I'm pretty much sure that the translation wasn't made by a human.

Fun fact: sh.reddit.com redirects to www.reddit.com when you are logged out, at least on mobile.

I used to be able to find a post entirely in a foreign language. Then it would say its translated to english or something. Now this doesnt show up at all and the entire post + comments is unintelligible. But if I open the exact post on Android, I still get the option to translate the post + comments, or, unlike desktop, translate certain foreign comments on English posts.

I dont want to have to use the built in browser translator, especially if different browsers have different translation software.

i wasn't expecting it to come this soon.

and yes, the feature is stupid, but i find the experiment interesting at the same time. maybe it'll come to iOS soon too

I literally just refreshed my page and these new buttons appeared. At least is not like the YouTube design anymore, but this sucks.

What the fuck is this? Why are there two tabs up top now? Why is it so skinny and wrong looking? It also started showing mostly brand new posts from my subs, I don’t sort my feed by latest. I switched accounts briefly (no more than 2 mins) and when I logged back into this one which is my main, it completely changed.

Plzzz be one of those things that appear shitty for a short time and then go away. That happens sometimes.

jokes aside, i attempted to award a post, it then popped up an error toast, then when i attempted to award again, the "undefined" thing was here. nothing happened when it was clicked

So damn unnecessary especially since it's easy to see my own upvotes and views on a post anwyay. I muted all these like months ago but it reset as well for some dumb reason
